3. Engaging Our Services
An engagement begins when both parties have agreed in writing to the scope of work and fees. An initial enquiry or consultation does not create a formal engagement, and no obligations arise from a first conversation.
We will send you a clear written summary of terms before work commences. You are under no obligation to proceed, and we will not apply pressure of any kind.
4. Fees and Payment
Our fees for each service are set out on this website and will be confirmed in writing before any engagement begins. Unless otherwise agreed:
- Fees are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of all standard service elements as described
- Additional disbursements — such as court fees or government charges — are not included in quoted fees and will be itemised separately
- Payment terms will be agreed in writing at the commencement of each engagement
- We will provide receipts and a clear record of all sums paid
If your circumstances change or costs look likely to vary, we will tell you promptly and agree any change before proceeding.
5. Our Obligations to You
We will:
- Carry out agreed services with reasonable care and diligence
- Keep you informed of progress in a timely manner
- Explain each step clearly before it is taken
- Handle your documents and information with discretion and care
- Act in accordance with applicable Thai law and professional standards
6. Your Obligations
To allow us to assist you properly, we ask that you:
- Provide accurate and complete information to the best of your knowledge
- Inform us promptly if circumstances change in ways that may affect the matter
- Respond to requests for documents or information within a reasonable time
- Inform us of any concerns as they arise — we are here to assist and would rather know sooner
7. Confidentiality
We treat all information shared with us in confidence. We will not disclose information about your matter to any third party without your consent, except where we are legally required to do so or where disclosure is necessary to complete an agreed step on your behalf.
This obligation continues after the conclusion of any engagement.
8. Limitations of Liability
Our liability to you is limited to the value of the fees paid for the specific service in which any shortcoming occurred, except where greater liability is required by law.
We are not responsible for outcomes that depend on the decisions of courts, registries, or other parties, or for delays arising from factors outside our reasonable control.

We may also end an engagement in limited circumstances — for example, if information provided proves to be materially inaccurate — and will give reasonable notice before doing so.

All content on this website — including text, structure, and design — belongs to Boran Legal. You may read and share links to this content but may not reproduce or distribute it for commercial purposes without our written consent.
Documents we prepare for you in the course of an engagement are yours once fees have been settled in full.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand. We hope, of course, that any concern would be resolved between us before matters reached that point.
